We have been really impressed with the quality of potential apprentices that have been provided by the training providers such as Youthforce. We had struggled to fill some posts through normal recruitment processes, but apprenticeship vacancies seem to attract a very high calibre of young person.
Taking on apprentices and providing apprenticeships for young people has been invaluable for our school. Not only are you providing opportunities for young people to make a difference in the workplace but you are adding to, developing and enhancing the skill set of the team. The process is supportive and managed efficiently and I would recommend Youthforce without hesitation.
Our apprentice has settled in well and has rapidly become a valued member of the team. She has a lovely manner and works well with the staff. She’s willing and flexible in following instructions and precisely completing tasks effectively.
We have had 2 apprentices at our school and we have benefited from their enthusiasm and hard work. They are willing to try their hand at anything and have developed good relationships with the pupils and staff. Having them in school has enabled us to be more creative with our Teaching Assistant timetables, thus providing more support for the pupils who need it most.
